In a stunning beachfront home in Freeport, NY, a client has reimagined their living space, harmoniously blending modern design elements with timeless transitional touches. This residence features an expansive side of sliding glass doors offering serene water views and filling the space with natural daylight. At the heart of this home is a meticulously designed Leicht kitchen that perfectly embodies a sophisticated coastal vibe.
Seamless Integration of Kitchen and Living Room
The kitchen's layout is a single-wall design running along a long wall that houses essential appliances such as the fridge, freezer, range top, and double oven. After a brief walkway, it continues with bar cabinetry, a built-in coffee maker, and a tall wine refrigerator capable of holding up to 54 bottles. Two large islands anchor the space, positioned transverse to the main wall. One island, closer to the living room, features a sink, serving as a central hub for cooking and socializing.
Elegant and Durable Kitchen Fronts
The kitchen's primary cabinetry features the CLASSIC-FS door in 071 Opal, a deep dark green shade. These lacquered fronts, crafted from high-grade MDF, offer a matte satin finish, adding a bold yet elegant touch. The secondary cabinetry on the main wall showcases the F-45 door in 120 Frosty White, creating a striking contrast that adds depth and character to the kitchen.
