This residence, owned by a family who split their time between Los Angeles and New York, needed a kitchen that accommodated their love for hosting friends and business associates. Enter their custom-designed kitchen—a blend of modern transitional elegance and superior functionality.
Unique Kitchen Layout and Expansive Design
The kitchen features a distinctive L-shaped layout, segmented into three straight walls connected by two 135-degree inner angles. This configuration maximizes space and adds a unique visual flair. Complementing this design is a large island with seating for five, aligning with the kitchen’s angular aesthetic. Adjacent to this main area is a wet bar and display cabinetry, seamlessly integrated for additional functionality and style.
Open Feel with No Upper Cabinets
The kitchen's high but lowered ceiling creates an expansive and open atmosphere. The absence of upper cabinets enhances this openness, with a custom-built hood box adding a touch of grandeur. This hood is framed by an impressive wall design extending to the countertop, creating a central focal point.
Leicht Kitchen with Timeless Appeal
This Leicht kitchen features the Contino handleless design, with profiles in bronze that add a timeless transitional touch.
