Expanding Functionality, Preserving Charm

The kitchen, initially spacious, required thoughtful planning to enhance functionality. The clients desired a highly practical space emphasizing ample storage, state‑of‑the‑art appliances, and a smooth daily cooking and entertaining flow.

U‑Shaped Layout with Purpose

We designed a functional U‑shaped layout, creating distinct cooking, dining, and gathering zones. An expansive central island offers additional storage and seating and houses a discreetly integrated 24‑inch wine cooler. A unique seating solution was devised—a hidden nook neatly concealed by extended side panels, ensuring a clean, continuous look.

Premium Leicht Contino Cabinetry

The client selected Leicht’s Contino handleless cabinets featuring BONDI supermatt finishes. A primary finish in 284 Carbon Grey was chosen for base cabinets, elegantly complemented by BONDI 120 Frosty White upper units. To maintain visual harmony, we matched the handleless profiles seamlessly to the Carbon Grey finish.

Drawers Designed for Living

For optimal practicality, all base cabinets feature a unique dual‑drawer system: externally appearing as a single drawer, each conceals an additional inner pull‑out, maximizing storage capacity and accessibility—a specific request by the homeowners for both aesthetics and everyday convenience.

Tall Section & Appliance Integration

We recommended consolidating tall cabinets and appliances along one wall to ensure an airy and cohesive feel. The nearly nine‑foot‑tall section incorporates pantry storage, a blind‑corner cabinet for optimized space usage, and panel‑ready refrigeration units from Miele.

Thoughtful Wall Cabinetry

Minimalist wall cabinets in Frosty White, set below ceiling level, enhance the spacious ambiance. These cabinets, accented with one‑inch‑thick natural walnut wood panels, add warmth and timelessness. Three distinct cabinetry sections—featuring opaque glass fronts—elegantly house daily essentials.

Specialized Cooking Zone

The cooking area reflects the homeowners’ culinary passion, housing two 24‑inch built‑in Miele ovens—one convection, one steam. Above, a carefully balanced arrangement pairs a 30‑inch induction cooktop with a 15‑inch gas wok burner, centrally aligned for functional harmony. Slim, dedicated pull‑outs on either side provide quick access to spices and cooking essentials.

Coffee & Pantry Nook

We created a sophisticated coffee station near the kitchen entryway featuring a 24‑inch Miele coffee maker. This custom nook, detailed with Frosty White cabinetry and a walnut countertop, is complemented by practical base drawers and upper bifold units.

Illuminating Details

Integrated dual‑temperature linear LED lighting beneath wall cabinets ensures perfect illumination for ambience and practicality, enhancing the kitchen’s bright, airy atmosphere.
